Global weather disasters partially driven by climate change racked up $180 billion in damage in 2018. And it’s only going to get worse from here. The solution? It’s not nibbling at the edges with small-ball policy and hoping for renewables to get up to speed. It’s a power source that has been staring us in the face since the 1960’s: nuclear energy.
