Anand Menon is professor of European Politics and Foreign Affairs at Kings College London. Menon also directs the Economic and Social Research Council Initiative on the U.K. in a Changing Europe. Previously, Menon was director of the European Research Institute at the University of Birmingham. Prior to this, Menon taught at the University of Oxford (St Antony’s College). Menon has held positions at Sciences Po, Columbia University and NYU. Menon has written on many aspects of contemporary Europe including the E.U. politics and institutions and European security. Menon is co-editor of the Oxford Handbook of the European Union (OUP, 2012) and author, amongst other things, of Europe: The State of the Union (Atlantic Books 2008).
